    Buddies

Olivia’s buddy (and across the street neighbor!), Sydney, came over to play for the morning today while her mom was at the hospital with new baby brother, Chase.  Olivia and Sydney get along so well and Sydney is such a mellow chick.  No drama from her (a lesson Olivia really should grasp!) all day!  We had waffles for breakfast, took the girls on a wagon ride to the local Farmer’s Market for some tasty treats, went on a little car ride through the hills, dined outside for lunch, then played until Sydney’s daddy came to get her for her nap.  We all had so much fun together!

We had a super relaxing 4th of July weekend with lots of fun in the sprinklers/kiddie pool and some delicious BBQ-ing with friends and family.  Becky and James joined us for the day on the 4th and the neighbors joined us in the afternoon for a couple of hours.  Olivia and Sydney had a great time playing in the water, swinging, and eating watermelon popsicles!  Good stuff!

A local farm, Hidden Villa, hosted a great Father’s Day concert.  The music was really geared towards the little ones but it was so wonderful having a little picnic dinner on the grass in the warm sun while Olivia danced with some new friends!

    Dancing queen!

Olivia is crazy about ALL music!  Whenever she hears any sort of music, she just can’t help dancing!  We recently took her to the Stanford Outdoor Jazz concert (offered once a week in the summer) and even though it was freezing cold and windy, Olivia still got her groove on!

We went on a super fun hike to The Westpoint Inn on Mt. Tam for Father’s Day.  There was a great pancake breakfast at the top where we gobbled up some goodies and then started the hike back down.  The views were amazing and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect!  Thanks for the fun day Becky and James!

We recently had a little surprise retirement party for my mom in Sonora.  Tyler, Angie, and Zachary came for the event as well and Olivia and Zachary had so much fun playing together…especially in the pool!

    Calistoga!

Bobbi and I recently did a quick getaway to Calistoga for some relaxing and wine tasting.  I must say, I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard in a VERY long time!  We giggled our way through several wineries, ate some amazing food, and even did an olive oil tasting (a first for both of us!)

    Scale Baby!

Thanks Grandpa for the awesome Scale Computing t-shirt!

We went to Morgan Hill’s Mushroom Mardi Gras with my cousin Bobbi and her family.  The kids got to wrestle around on the grass, listen to live music, eat corn dogs, ride some rides and just get crazy!  Both sets of parents even got to do some wine tasting!  What a fun way to spend a Saturday!

My brother graduated from Chico State last weekend and we took a little family road trip for the festivities.  It was so much fun to see Olivia and her cousin, Zachary, play together!

Congrats to my big brother, Tyler!  We’re so proud of you!
